of Oxford and being bald!

Last Saturday 24/02/07 i went to Oxford with my fellow friends. We followed a trip organized by the International Student office because we figured that the ticket was cheap and it's not easy to go there unless you have your own transport so yeah... it was a very interesting outing. The fact that being in place known for its reputation in education made me pretty much impressed. oxford is a small town itself and the university buildings are scattered in it. Most of them are very old dated back until the 13th century..yup, that old but are still standing strong. i bet young ayob clans watched Harry Potter before? some of the shots in the film were taken at few places here!! my group was lucky cuz we have a friend studying here so he brought us for tour of his college or else visitors are not allowed...and it was beautiful. most of the college that we went to have a beautiful courtyard in the middle and the buildings are very old...medieval look. there is a very popular library here that keeps at least one copy of each book published in Britain!! so u can imagine how much books it has in its storage!!!! i was thankful to know that oxford has a reasonably sized Islamic Center and Halal food is available.. this shows that Muslims community in the university and around it is quiet big. Hopefully this in a way reflect that our Ummah is getting stronger?! insyaAllah... Is there any of our members wish to study here? it's not impossible really!!! Lastly today... all of my house mates cut their hair bald and yes that includes me!!! ahehe...
