June-July...Turn of event

A turn of event has seen some planned agendas to be changed. When we started the month of June, the Cheras group had fixed end of June to move into their new dig. Unfortunately, there were some minor glitches in the renovation works, among other things, that has forced the event to be postphoned to early July.

Suddenly, sometime early this week, the S4 group got a call from Bang Long's sponsor, Petronas for him to start his preparation for NZ futher studies. Alhamdulillah... Now Bang Long's good news has forced some earlier planned events to be reshuffled to accommodate his further studies which is supposed to commence mid-July! What short notice the sponsors gave. This means that he has 4 weeks to get all the necessary things done...his medical check-up, his passport, his student visa, his travelling bags, clothings...etc etc. This is not a weekend getaway sort of thing...if all goes well he will spend the next 3.5 years in NZ to complete his first degree. So, one can imagine the amount of things/ work to be done to prepare for his departure (date yet to be confirmed) and only 4 weeks to the start of his studies!!

To add to all the complication, he has 5 days of BTN and another 5 days for pre-departure briefing both in Banting (fortunately). There is actually not many days left for other events, like kenduri? Lets just hope all gos well goes well and everyone is happy.

So, that means the Cheras group has also to accommodate Bang Long's event. The moving into Pelangi Semenyih can be done but any kenduri doa selamat would have to be on a later date. Lets leave it to the Cheras and Bintong to sort that out.

So guys, this really has been a big turn of event for all of us. We can only plan for it, it is Him that has the final say.
