A New Chapter for Fyras

Fyras’s first day of school was a truly meaningful moment for our family. It wasn’t easy letting him step into a new journey. Since he was little, we had never left him with strangers, so when the time finally came to send him to school, my heart was filled with a mix of pride, worry, and sadness. I can only imagine how Wanma must have felt too — a blend of concern and excitement — watching her precious grandson begin this new chapter of his life.

Dada was away for work on a six-month work commitment, but distance never stopped him from being present. He made sure to be there virtually during drop-off and pick-up through video calls. Even though he was only on the screen, his presence brought comfort and reassurance to Fyras — and to Mommy too.

Mama also played a big role during those first few days. She took three days off just to help send Fyras to school and pick him up early, making sure he felt safe and supported during this transition. Having her by our side meant more than words can express. Thank you, Mama, for being there when we needed you the most.

Each morning, before heading to his class, Fyras makes a quick pit stop at Mommy’s office. Mommy’s students excitedly tag along to send him to his classroom, which makes the transition a little gentler. These small routines have become very special moments for us.

It is now his third week of school. Although he still cries every morning, I hold onto hope that, insyaAllah, he will slowly adapt. Adjusting takes time, and every small step forward matters.

This journey may not be easy, but it is part of growing up. Through the tears and tiny brave steps, I am learning that letting go is also an act of love. One day, I hope Fyras will read this and know that every step he took was surrounded by prayers and endless love.

We truly hope everyone can continue making doa for this brave little boy. May Allah ease his journey, strengthen his heart, and fill his days with confidence, kindness, and happiness. Ameen 🤍

Oh my… I’m just doing the least on my part ☺️
I still remember the first day of school… bittersweet, but full of encouragement and hope. May Allah ﷻ guide and protect every child’s first steps, and grant them khayr and barakah in every step of their journey ❤️

Congrats on this maiden post by Mommy Fyras Helena.

I am truly happy to see Fyras transition from the home boy into school boy and the shared commmitments by all the members of the little family of SMC/ Puchong both physically and virtually.

I'm pretty sure Fyras will adapt to his new environment and friends, even at his own pace. Mind you, being at home almost all his life seeing the same people day in day out is a huge transition for him just like meeting all of us.

Go Fyras Go!
